About DocxPacer

What is DocxPacer?

DocxPacer is a Chrome extension that types a .docx file into an open Google Doc at a human pace. Free is $0. Pro is $4.99 a month, or $79 once.

What DocxPacer does

The .docx is parsed in the browser, with no upload. The extension types with synthetic keyboard events into the Google Docs tab, keeping bold, italic, and alignment, instead of an instant paste. Pace is adjustable, with words per session, breaks, and a Resume control that continues the next day. The Humanizer, on Pro, adds lifelike typos, self-corrections, and on-device AI rephrase, and keeps the .docx formatting. Everyone gets one free Humanizer session. The page says there is no analytics, no telemetry, and it talks to no server.

Who DocxPacer is for

Someone who already wrote a draft in Word and wants it typed into Google Docs, including a person who wants the edit history to build as the text arrives.

How DocxPacer works

Install from the Chrome Web Store, pick the .docx, set the pace, and press play. Permissions named are activeTab and storage. The page says there is no debugger permission and no access to browsing history. It does not read the document back or send it to a server. Settings stay in local extension storage. Pro is one Google sign-in with no password. Card or Apple Pay is via Dodo Payments. Cancel Pro in one click. Pace is 15 to 150 WPM.
