Once connected, Claude can:
- Create and update your product listing, upload its images, and publish, schedule or unlist it.
- Get your badge snippet and check that it is live on your website.
- Read the weekly launch board and see where your product stands.
- Find the directories that fit your product, prepare your product packet and record each submission you make.
- Answer the questions visitors ask on your listing.
- Read your listing’s views, clicks and Domain Rating (by Ahrefs).
- Search and read the public listings in the directory.
The LotsDirectory dashboard does the whole job too: your listing, badge, launch week, directory submissions and analytics. Your agent for speed, the dashboard for control.
You need
- Any Claude plan: Free, Pro, Max, Team or Enterprise
- On Team and Enterprise, an owner adds it once under Organization settings, then Connectors (Add, then Custom, then Web), and each member connects it from Customize, then Connectors
- A LotsDirectory account. You can create one during sign-in.
Connect Claude to LotsDirectory
Open Connectors
In Claude, go to Customize, then Connectors. Select + Add and choose Add custom connector.
Add LotsDirectory
Name it LotsDirectory, paste the server URL and select Continue. Keep the sign-in settings Claude detects, select Continue again, then select Add.

A LotsDirectory sign-in opens in your browser. Sign in with your email. New users can create an account during this step.

If something goes wrong
- LotsDirectory tools do not appear in a chat
- Select the + button at the lower left of the chat, open Connectors and switch LotsDirectory on for that conversation.
- New tools are missing after an update
- Disconnect and reconnect the connector so Claude reloads the tool list.

How do I connect Claude to LotsDirectory?
Follow the Claude setup above to add https://api.lots.directory/mcp. Complete sign-in using the authentication method shown. Then ask “List my products on LotsDirectory”.
Is LotsDirectory in Claude’s connector directory?
Add LotsDirectory as a custom connector: in Claude, go to Customize, then Connectors, select + Add and choose Add custom connector. Paste the MCP URL and sign in to your LotsDirectory account.
Do I need an API key to use LotsDirectory with Claude?
No. Claude signs in to LotsDirectory in your browser. API keys are for the REST API, for scripts and your own apps.
What does LotsDirectory cost?

Can my agent change other people’s listings?
No. Your agent can search and read public listings, and it can change only the listings your account owns.
Does my agent submit my product to other directories?
Your agent and the dashboard work through the same directory list and the same records. Your agent reads what each directory asks for, prepares your product packet and records each submission, and you complete the steps a directory asks of its owner.
Will I see my agent’s changes in my dashboard?
Yes. The dashboard and your agent use the same records, so a listing your agent creates or updates is the one you see in your dashboard.
