## Detailed info

## What is Winotch?

Winotch is a Windows notch with a file shelf, tasks, a calendar, a focus timer and an app launcher. Data is saved locally on the PC.

## What Winotch does

Park files at the top of the screen, keep priorities, due dates and filters on a To do, Doing and Done board, and land anything with a due date on the calendar. A 25-minute focus session keeps the countdown and task name in the pill until the break. Tasks, settings and the file shelf are saved locally. The shelf keeps a shortcut to each file, so nothing is moved or uploaded.

## Who Winotch is for

Winotch runs on Windows 10 and Windows 11, on desktops and laptops. It sits at the top of the main screen and can be moved left, centre or right.

## How Winotch works

Run the installer and the notch appears at the top of the screen. Sign in with Google or GitHub so the purchase follows to other PCs. Pay once through Stripe checkout and the notch unlocks when the payment goes through. There is no licence key.

## Key features

- Drag anything onto the notch to park files, open a file, show it in its folder, drag it back out, or scan a QR code to send it to a phone on your own network.
- While the notch is closed, the pill counts what is due today. The board has To do, Doing and Done, with priorities, due dates and filters.
- Anything with a due date lands on the calendar. Switch between month and week, and tick things off there.
- Pick a task and start a 25-minute session. The countdown and task name stay in the pill until the break.
- Calculator, Snip, Notepad and Task Manager are built in. Drop any exe or shortcut to pin your own.
- Eleven themes run from Purple to Graphite, plus a glassmorphism theme, with both sizes and every animation speed.
- The space around the notch lets clicks pass through. Sliding along the top edge makes it fade, and it can be moved left, centre or right.
- Winotch checks for a new version a few seconds after it starts, downloads it in the background, and shows a restart button in Settings when ready.

Windows 10 and Windows 11, on desktops and laptops. It sits at the top of the main screen and can be moved left, centre or right.

The purchase is linked to that account instead of a licence key. Reinstall, switch PCs or install it on other machines, sign in, and it is unlocked.

### How do updates work?
Winotch checks for a new version a few seconds after it starts, downloads it in the background and shows a restart button in Settings when it is ready.
