About WebBoard
What is WebBoard?
WebBoard turns bookmarks into visual desktops to customize and share on Windows, Mac, Android, and iPhone. It is an independent Belgian project.
What WebBoard does
Add bookmarks, sticky notes, task lists, and widgets on a desktop, with themes or a background image. Built-in search runs Google, Bing, DuckDuckGo, or AI searches. Emails, URLs, and bookmark names are encrypted with AES-256. Desktops can be shared read-only or with collaborative editing, and a chat widget keeps the last 100 messages. WebBoard checks bookmarks every month for dead links and duplicates. An installable app, a new-tab page, and a Chrome, Edge, and Firefox extension are described. A demo runs with no sign-up and no card.
Who WebBoard is for
Shared desktops are described for Family, a small business, a project team, and client portals.
How WebBoard works
Free signup takes 30 seconds with email. Customize desktops with colors, themes, and background images, then fill them with bookmarks, sticky notes, task lists, and widgets. Find desktops on every device and share them read-only or with full edit. Install the app, replace the new-tab page, and add a site in one click with the browser extension. The demo needs no sign-up and resets itself.
