What is TidyText?
TidyText converts markdown from chat answers into rich text for Google Docs and Word. The conversion runs in the browser. Nothing that is pasted is sent to a server.
What TidyText does
Paste an answer, preview headings, bold, italic, lists, tables, code, and links, then copy the result. It also converts common LaTeX into readable text, removes citation markers and emojis, and can replace an em dash with a comma, a hyphen, a semicolon, a colon, or a full stop.

How TidyText works
Copy the answer, paste it into the box, and click Tidy and copy. Then paste with Ctrl+V on Windows or Cmd+V on a Mac. The page keeps working offline after it has loaded. Number ranges such as 2019-2021 are not touched.

No. The conversion runs as JavaScript in the browser. Nothing that is pasted is sent to a server, logged, or stored.

How should the result be pasted?
