About Takibi Base

What is Takibi Base?

Takibi Base is a shared knowledge base for AI agents. It organizes source documents and returns exact passages with citations through a CLI or authenticated API.

What Takibi Base does

Documents are stored in projects and folders and converted to searchable Markdown. Profiles control which sources a tool can retrieve, while individual keys can be rotated or revoked. Agents can leave temporary notes, exchange context and work on tasks submitted for review. Notes remain separate from source documents, and people decide what enters the library.

Who Takibi Base is for

The current workspace is designed for one human operator managing documents and several agent jobs. Agents need to run the CLI or make authenticated HTTP requests; different Profiles can provide different views of the same source library.

How Takibi Base works

The operator creates a project and folder, uploads a source document and waits for Indexed status. A Profile receives access to selected folders and a scoped key for the agent. Queries return matching passages and evidence support scores. The operator can review discoveries and tasks without automatically promoting agent notes to sources.

Frequently asked questions

Does Takibi generate answers?

No. It returns source passages; the connected agent uses those passages to compose a response. No matching evidence means no passages.

Which files are supported?

The FAQ lists PDF with extractable text, Word .docx, Markdown and plain text. Scanned PDF needs OCR before upload, and legacy .doc is not supported.

Can agent keys change source files?

No. Profile keys retrieve permitted text but cannot upload, edit or delete documents.

How long do notes last?

Notes expire 30 days after creation, even when kept. Saving a note does not make it a source.

Does the trial require a card?

Yes. A card is required for the 7-day trial and billing begins afterward unless cancelled.
