About Search1API

What is Search1API?

Search1API gives AI agents a live web layer for search, crawl, extract, sitemap, and trending. It is a REST API with MCP, a command-line client, and official TypeScript and Python SDKs. 100 free credits do not need a credit card.

What Search1API does

Endpoints cover search, news, crawl, screenshot, sitemap, trending, DeepCrawl, and extract. Search can draw on Google, Bing, GitHub, Reddit, YouTube, and WeChat. Deep Search charges 1 credit for the query plus 1 credit for each page that was crawled. Failed requests should not deduct credits. The service does not store any search results. Each request is processed and returned. Results are typically delivered within 1-2 seconds. The same account, billing balance, and usage limits apply on HTTP, the s1 command-line client, the SDKs, and an MCP-compatible agent. Claude, Cursor, and Windsurf are named as agent environments. Static ISP starts from $1.99 per month, and rotating residential starts from $1.10 per GB.

Who Search1API is for

Search1API is for developers and teams connecting AI agents to the live web. Search1API is operated by SuperAgents, LLC, a Delaware limited liability company, at 131 Continental Dr, Suite 305, Newark, Delaware 19713, United States. Customer support can be sent to sys@search1api.com.

How Search1API works

Get an API key and call the REST API, or connect an MCP-compatible agent to the hosted Streamable HTTP server. Clients can also be generated from the OpenAPI 3.1 contract. One credit is one basic search, news, or crawl request. Screenshot is 2 credits, agentic search on /ask is 5, extract is 10, and DeepCrawl is 20. In Deep Search, crawl_results greater than 0 adds the number of successfully crawled pages. If crawl_results is 4 and only 3 pages are crawled, the charge is 4 credits, not 5. Pay as you go from $5, or subscribe from $19/month. Credits on a top-up never expire. Subscription credits refresh every month.
