About ScreenPlace
What is ScreenPlace?
ScreenPlace is a native Mac window manager that remembers the size and position of windows and can put them back. It runs on macOS Sonoma (14) or later. The core app is free, and ScreenPlace Ultra is a one-time purchase.
What ScreenPlace does
ScreenPlace can group apps into workspaces, switch them from the menu bar or a keyboard shortcut, and apply sizes and positions when an app launches. Badge stays close to a window and can snap it back, save the current size and position, or hide when the size and position match. Templates save X, Y, width, and height, and you can reuse them across apps. You can save a separate layout for each display setup and it applies when the display changes. Windows can be matched by title, index, or pattern. The app is available in English and German.
Who ScreenPlace is for
People on a Mac running macOS Sonoma (14) or later who want each window back in its place, including more than one display.
How ScreenPlace works
Download ScreenPlace and grant Device Control and Data Access, then add windows. Apply a layout from the keyboard or let auto-apply run when an app launches or a workspace switches. The core features are free. Ultra is a license key you activate from the License button in settings, in the About section. Updates after purchase have no additional cost. A refund can be requested within 14 days at info@designtech.so.
