## Detailed info

## What is Scalebrowser?

Scalebrowser is self-hosted browser infrastructure for AI agents. A daemon on the machine creates browser profiles and launches them. Start is $19 per month, and a 7-day free trial is listed.

## What Scalebrowser does

Each profile keeps cookies, storage, a proxy, and fingerprint values from one seed. Passwords live encrypted on disk and get typed into the form. The agent can run over MCP, a Python or Node SDK, direct CDP, or a plain REST API. Headless is the default, with a visible window when requested.

## Who Scalebrowser is for

Scalebrowser is for an agent that has to stay signed in and run browser tasks. Point Claude, Cursor, ChatGPT, Codex, or browser-use at it over MCP or direct CDP.

## How Scalebrowser works

Download the app and start a 7-day free trial. The daemon holds profiles and the engine is a Chromium fork. The daemon verifies the engine signature at install and at every launch, and refuses to start a profile without one. Every plan includes unlimited profiles.

## Key features

- Persistent identity per profile, isolated logins, cookies, and a device that stays the same across restarts.
- Stored logins, passkeys, cookies, and an inbox per profile for confirmation codes.
- Two-factor codes are computed inside the profile. SMS is described the same way.
- Captcha handling lists press and hold, image grids, sliders, rotation, and the spoken one. 18 captcha types are solved on live widgets.
- The agent reads the page once, then only what moved: $29.16 for a hundred steps.
- Every tool call becomes one step with its result and a screenshot.
- MCP, both SDKs, and direct CDP are on the plan, plus browser engine updates.
- Fleet adds browsers at 5 per unit for $40 a month each, and machines at 1 per unit for $25 a month each.
