## Detailed info

## What is RedVid?

RedVid is a free browser tool for saving available video, images, GIFs, galleries, and audio from supported public Reddit posts.

## What RedVid does

It displays the media exposed by a pasted post link so users can preview and download individual items. When a video has a separate audio track, RedVid adds it to the saved MP4. Files retain the available source quality without recompression, resizing, or an added watermark.

## Who RedVid is for

It is for people who want to save public Reddit media without creating an account, logging in to Reddit, or installing a separate app.

## How RedVid works

Users copy a public post link from Reddit’s Share button or the browser address bar, paste it into RedVid, and press Download. Available video, photo, GIF, or gallery items appear for preview. Users select files to save, with videos going to the device’s default download folder.
