Description

Monitor websites, APIs, SSL certificates, domains (holds, DNS drift, RBL listings), page speed, Linux servers, and cron jobs from more than one location. A test is only down when a majority fail. Sites group those tests for one client and can publish a public status page.

About Pulseping

What is Pulseping?

Pulseping is website and server monitoring. Free uptime monitoring needs no credit card. A new workspace can use Professional limits for 14 days, then stay on Free.

What Pulseping does

Uptime over HTTP, HEAD, TCP, DNS, SMTP, SSH, Ping, and PUSH heartbeats, plus page speed, domain expiry, SSL, Linux servers, and cron. A test is down only when a majority of locations fail the same interval, then two failed intervals by default. Alerts can go to email, Slack, Discord, Microsoft Teams, Mattermost, Telegram, webhooks, and SMS on paid plans. Sites and public status pages do not count as tests.

Who Pulseping is for

Pulseping is for people who monitor sites, domains, SSL, servers, and cron, including more than one client on a status page.

How Pulseping works

Start on Free with no credit card. A free snapshot can show uptime, status code, and SSL with no account. Bulk import URLs, tag them, and attach an alert group. When the 14-day Professional trial ends, the workspace drops to Free. Extra tests are paused, not deleted. Billing is confirmed before anything charges.

Frequently asked questions

Is a credit card required?

No. Free uptime monitoring needs no credit card. New workspaces can use Professional limits for 14 days. When that ends, the workspace stays on Free. Billing is confirmed before anything charges.

When is a site down?

Uptime checks run from more than one location. A test is down only when a majority of those locations fail the same interval. The default confirmation is two failed intervals. A probe that does not check in is missed, not a fail.

What counts as a test?

Uptime, page speed, domain, SSL, server, and cron monitoring each count as one test. Sites and public status pages do not count as tests.

What happens when the trial ends?

The workspace drops to Free: 10 tests every 5 minutes. Extra tests are paused, not deleted. Upgrade anytime to restore 30-second checks, SMS, and more tests.
