## Detailed info

## What is posthell?

posthell takes a sentence about what happened, writes the posts, schedules them across networks, and waits for approval before anything goes out.

## What posthell does

A note, a changelog or a link can become drafts for each network, with pictures and a place on the calendar. Nothing it writes publishes until you approve it, one draft or a batch. Link taps are counted per post and per network on every plan. Monthly billing starts with 7 days free and a card is needed. Yearly billing has no trial.

## Who posthell is for

The home FAQ names founders and indie hackers, plus creators, agencies and small businesses. The about page names owners of dental and physio clinics, contractors and home services, salons, restaurants, real estate agents, photographers, accountants, consultants and small ecommerce brands.

## How posthell works

Type or dictate one line about what happened. posthell writes the posts, tailors each network, and lines them up on the schedule. Approve in the app or from the morning email. If a network refuses a post, it is marked failed and an email gives the reason. A repeat post, and an API key, can post without a fresh OK.

## Key features

- The home page says every plan posts to LinkedIn, Instagram, Threads, Bluesky, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube and Pinterest, and that all 9 networks are included.
- The about page names 14 networks: X, Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok, YouTube, Threads, Bluesky, Pinterest, Reddit, Telegram, Discord, Google Business Profile and WhatsApp.
- The home page says AI images are on every plan, with a stock photo or your own photo.
- The about page says there is no AI image generation, and that a stock photo or a branded card can be built from a logo and colours.
- Stories and carousels, repeat posts, posting times, and an email if a post fails are listed. Speak instead of typing is listed too.
- posthell is a remote MCP server for Claude Code and Cursor, and a CLI can draft into the same queue.
- Link taps turn the links in posts into short tracked links and count every tap, per post and per network, on every plan.
- Accounts connect through each network login over OAuth. Disconnecting an account wipes the stored credentials. Platform passwords are not stored.

## FAQ

### Will the posts sound like AI?
It writes from the facts, numbers and phrasing you give it, even lowercase if that is how you type. It is built not to invent details or pile on hashtags. It learns from how you edit its drafts, and every draft waits so you can change any word before anything goes out.

### Can it post without approval?
Not unless you set that up. Every post waits for approval. A post you set to repeat, and an API key you let publish, can post without a fresh OK. Autopilot for networks you choose is coming to Pro and Assistant. Until it ships, those networks wait for an OK too.

### Is there a free trial?
Yes. Monthly plans start with 7 days free. A card is needed up front, nothing is charged until the trial ends, and yearly billing has no trial. During the trial you get up to 100 posts and 30 AI drafts. Cancel from Settings before day 7 and you are never charged.

### How many posts and AI drafts are included?
Solo includes 300 posts, 100 AI drafts and 30 AI images a month. Pro includes 1,000 posts, 300 AI drafts and 100 AI images. Assistant includes unlimited posts, 1,000 AI drafts and 150 AI images. A post to four networks counts as four. Writing a post yourself never uses one.

### Do I need to be technical?
No. You tell it what happened in plain language, in the app on a laptop or phone. There is also an MCP server and a CLI so your own AI tools can draft into the same queue.

### What happens if a post fails to publish?
If a network refuses a post, it is marked failed, an email gives the reason and how to fix it, and you can retry it in one tap. The features page lists it under Needs attention with a one-tap retry, and you find out the same day.
