What is LLMnesia?

LLMnesia is a free Chrome and Edge extension that searches AI chat history on the device. Vault is the optional paid add-on for encrypted sync, at £8 a month or £88 a year.

What LLMnesia does

Free search covers chats on that browser profile across ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Perplexity, Copilot, DeepSeek, Grok, and Mistral. The index stays in the browser, and free search uploads nothing. Search can be by meaning or by the exact message. History can be imported, chats can be starred, and a line can be saved as a memory. Press Cmd or Ctrl, Shift, and 9 to search. MCP is free and lets a desktop AI search the local archive. The page names Claude Code, Codex, and zcode among local coding agents. Vault adds end-to-end encrypted backup and sync, a phone and desktop web app, and Ask Vault.

Install the extension. Free capture, import, and search stay on the device. Stripe Checkout can start from the extension Vault panel, with no second sign-in. Cancel from the billing portal. Conversations already on each device stay searchable if the subscription ends. Sync and restore pause until Vault is renewed. Ask Vault sends a bounded set of material from the browser to the provider chosen with your own API key, and the page says the request does not pass through LLMnesia.
