About FoundrRadio
What is FoundrRadio?
Foundr Radio is an internet radio platform built as a virtual FM dial from 88.0 to 108.0. Anyone can tune in and listen live, and anyone can claim a frequency and broadcast live from the browser.
What FoundrRadio does
Pick an open frequency between 88.0 and 108.0 FM. There are 201 frequencies, in steps of 0.1. Each frequency belongs to one station at a time. Give the station a name, a short description of up to 200 characters, a genre, and a website. Add up to five programs, each with a name and a date and time. They appear as upcoming or past, in each listener's own time zone. Select the microphone, or add PC audio such as music or a call. The studio shows On air with a running timer and a live listener count. Anyone can tune to the frequency from any device.
Who FoundrRadio is for
Foundr Radio is for anyone who wants to listen live, and for anyone who wants to claim a frequency and broadcast a live station from the browser.
How FoundrRadio works
Sign up with email. The account is the control room under My channel. Claim a frequency and it is assigned instantly after payment. Open My channel, choose Edit, then add programs. Select Broadcast to open the studio. It is off air until Set up broadcast. Allow microphone access when the browser asks. Nothing goes out to listeners yet. Select Start broadcast when ready, and End broadcast when done. Keep the tab open while broadcasting.
