About Coolify

What is Coolify?

Coolify is an open-source, self-hostable platform that deploys websites, databases, web applications, and one-click services to a server over SSH. The self-hosted option is free forever. Coolify Cloud is managed and has a monthly server price.

What Coolify does

Push a commit and Coolify builds it and ships it to any server connected over SSH. Builds can use Nixpacks, Railpack, a Dockerfile, or Docker Compose, or a prebuilt Docker image from a registry. One-click databases include PostgreSQL, MySQL, MariaDB, MongoDB, Redis, KeyDB, Dragonfly, and ClickHouse. The home page says 280+ one-click services, and the documentation page says 300+ open-source software with one-click service templates. Servers can be a VPS, Raspberry Pi, EC2, DigitalOcean, Linode, or Hetzner. Free SSL certificates are renewed for custom domains. An MCP server can list resources, deploy, read logs, and restart services for Claude, Cursor, or any MCP client.

Who Coolify is for

Coolify is for teams that want to deploy apps, databases, and services to their own servers, either by self-hosting Coolify or by connecting those servers to Coolify Cloud.

How Coolify works

Connect a server over SSH, then push code. Coolify builds every commit and deploys it. GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket, and Gitea are listed for push to deploy. Projects can separate production, staging, and shared variables. A previous build can be rolled back with one click. The documentation page lists Laravel, Next.js, Spring Boot, Django, and Ruby on Rails.
