About Anypost

What is Anypost?

Anypost is an email API for transactional and broadcast email. Send over HTTP or SMTP with one key. Markdown can be passed in, and Anypost renders HTML and a plain-text version.

What Anypost does

The HTTP API accepts JSON, and SMTP lets an existing app send without code changes. Both transports report the same events: sent, delivered, bounced, opened, clicked, and unsubscribed. Events can go to a webhook, the events API, or the dashboard. Tags, a topic, and a campaign can be attached and used as filters. Anypost adds a one-click unsubscribe link, hosts the page, and suppresses the address. Official SDKs cover TypeScript, Python, PHP, Ruby, Go, Rust, Java, and C#. emailmd renders Markdown, and an AI template generator can draft a template from a description. DKIM and SPF are automatic.

Who Anypost is for

Anypost is for side projects, prototypes, and production apps that send email. High volume adds dedicated IPs, a dedicated range, dedicated hardware, multiple regions, and a deliverability team.

How Anypost works

Create a key and send. A batch can go in one call, and an idempotency key lets a retry avoid a second send. A 202 means the message was accepted. Free includes 3,000 emails a month and 100 a day, then pauses at the cap, with no overage. Paid plans include a monthly allowance and bill metered overage above it. Daily limits ramp as sending reputation builds. Prices are in USD.

Key features

  • HTTP JSON and SMTP share one key and the same events.
  • Events are sent, delivered, bounced, opened, clicked, and unsubscribed, by webhook, events API, or dashboard.
  • emailmd turns Markdown into HTML and plain text on every send. An AI template generator lets you describe the email in plain language and get an emailmd template.
  • Tags, a topic, and a campaign can filter events. One-click unsubscribe is added and the address is suppressed.
  • SDKs for TypeScript, Python, PHP, Ruby, Go, Rust, Java, and C#, or plain HTTP.
  • Automatic DKIM and SPF. Idempotency keys and batch sends are supported.
  • Free has a hard cap. Paid plans bill overage only above the monthly allowance.
