## What you can do once connected

- Create and update your product listing, upload its images, and publish, schedule or unlist it.
- Get your badge snippet and check that it is live on your website.
- Read the weekly launch board and see where your product stands.
- Find the directories that fit your product, prepare your product packet and record each submission you make.
- Answer the questions visitors ask on your listing.
- Read your listing’s views, clicks and Domain Rating (by Ahrefs).
- Search and read the public listings in the directory.

The LotsDirectory dashboard does the whole job too: your listing, badge, launch week, directory submissions and analytics. Your agent for speed, the dashboard for control.

## You need

- Cue access with an agent computer
- A LotsDirectory API key
- A LotsDirectory account. You can create one during sign-in.

## Connect Cue to LotsDirectory

1. **Create a LotsDirectory API key.** Sign in to the LotsTech API page and create a key for your agent.

```
https://www.lotstech.com/api
```

2. **Ask Cue to use the LotsDirectory API.** Give your agent the setup prompt below. Configure your key privately in its computer environment and ask it to start with a read-only request.

```
Use https://api.lots.directory/docs to connect LotsDirectory from your computer. Authenticate with my privately configured LOTSDIRECTORY_API_KEY. First list my products on LotsDirectory. Keep credentials out of chat and logs.
```

3. **Give the agent its responsibility.** Say what the agent looks after in LotsDirectory, which source material it uses and how often it works. Ask it to report what it changed.

## What to ask next

- “List my product from https://yourproduct.com on LotsDirectory”
- “Show this week’s launches on LotsDirectory and where my product stands”
- “Show me the directories that fit my product best and what each one asks for”
- “I submitted to the first directory on my list. Record it with this note and show my progress”

## Questions and troubleshooting

### How do I connect Cue to LotsDirectory?

Use the LotsDirectory REST API from Cue’s computer. Create an API key at https://www.lotstech.com/api, configure it privately for the task and share https://api.lots.directory/docs with your agent. Ask it for something read-only first.

### Can I connect LotsDirectory to Cue today?

Use the REST API from your Cue agent’s computer, following the setup above. Create a LotsDirectory API key, configure it privately for the agent and share https://api.lots.directory/docs. Then ask Cue for something read-only first.

### Do I need an API key to use LotsDirectory with Cue?

Yes. Create one at https://www.lotstech.com/api and keep it out of chats, logs and committed files. Where Cue offers sign-in, use that instead.

### What does LotsDirectory cost?

Current plans and prices are on https://lots.directory/pricing. Your agent’s own plan or usage fees are separate.

### Can my agent change other people’s listings?

No. Your agent can search and read public listings, and it can change only the listings your account owns.

### Does my agent submit my product to other directories?

Your agent and the dashboard work through the same directory list and the same records. Your agent reads what each directory asks for, prepares your product packet and records each submission, and you complete the steps a directory asks of its owner.

### Will I see my agent’s changes in my dashboard?

Yes. The dashboard and your agent use the same records, so a listing your agent creates or updates is the one you see in your dashboard.

### Cue cannot authenticate to LotsDirectory

Check that the API key is available on the computer doing the task. LotsDirectory API requests use an Authorization header containing Bearer followed by a space and the key.

### How do I set up a recurring routine in Cue?

Set the routine on the Cue agent responsible for the work. Include the source material and ask for a report. LotsDirectory handles each request the agent makes.
